Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is an American R&B soul, soul and musician and singer. She is the recipient of various accolades including the Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for the Academy Award. Andra day is an incredibly gifted and skilled artist. It's not like she's an old-fashioned R&B expert, but her roots in gospel jazz and the blues is apparent and translates into contemporary music. The debut album of Andra Day, Cheers to the Fall (2015) was a top hit on the R&B/hiphop charts. Additionally, her contribution towards Marshall (2017) earned her a Grammy Award as well as an Academy Award. Amen and the singles Make Your Troubles Away and The United States Versus Billie Holiday each have singles making fans wait for the arrival of her new album. She was born Cassandra Monique Batie in Edmonds Washington Andra Day grew up living in San Diego and its metropolitan region where she sang in churches and attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts. When she was a teenager and listened to music of the present, she was a fan of contemporary R&B music, and later pop. However, her heart was always attracted to traditional soul and jazz vocalists. Kai Millard Morris recorded a concert of Day, and later gave her husband Stevie Wonder some of Day's music. The Motown legend in turn became acquainted Day with industry veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Day got signed by Warner Bros. after gaining an enormous YouTube following together with Gurvitz and Jeffrey Evans Buskin. It was quickly picked up by DJs and they began playing it on the radio. She then joined Warner Bros. Records. Adrian Gurvitz recorded her debut album, Cheers to celebrate the fall. The album included the track Rise up and was chosen as a national anthem by the social justice movement across the world. The album received nominations twice for Grammy Awards. The album was nominated as Best R&B Album. She came out with The United States Vs. Billie Holiday in 2019, A concept album about the life and career of jazz legend Billie Holiday. The United States against Billie Holiday came out in 2021. It was the same year that she also appeared in the film Holiday. Andi Mattichak was an American actor. She appeared first in TV shows such as Orange Is the New Black or Blue Bloods, before debuting in the horror films Halloween as well as sequels. Andi matichak is a American actress born on 03 May 1994 in Framingham in Massachusetts.
